Yes, we comply with the requirements of Which? Verisign - A leading quality assurance body. 

How do these organizations help to protect me ?
Carrying the Verisign mark confirms to you that our site is Secure (safe to buy from), and that we are legally registered and trustworthy, respect privacy, have suitable delivery and returns policies, can be contacted in a number of ways, and handle complaints fairly and quickly. They all hold a database of complaints against any of their members (unresolved complaints result in expulsion from their registry).

Is it safe to order online ?
Yes, it is statistically far safer to make payment to Secure sites such as ours than paying by card in shops or restaurants.

Why it is safe to make card payments online ?
IslandChild.com is hosted on a Secure Site using leading secure server software (SSL - Secure Socket Layer) and all sensitive information is entered in a specially protected part of the site that no one can see. All of your card details and personal information are encrypted (coded) so when payment is being authorised no one can read the details of you or your card.

How do I find what I am looking for ?
You can search for products by our simple drop-down menus within the Go Shopping area, or through the designers information section.

Can I check the dimensions of the garment ?
Yes, simply click the "Sizing" button at the bottom of every page, and the key measurements will be indicated.

What is a "Shopping Basket" ?
It is a list of products that you compile each time you add an item to your shopping basket, allowing you to buy a number of products at the same time.

What is the "Checkout" ?
It is the area which you go to once you have completed your list of products you want to buy, where you confirm the payment and delivery details.

 

PAYMENT

Can I amend or cancel an order after I have paid ?
Yes, you can change the delivery address, remove any one or more products from the order, or cancel the entire order. You will need to let us know as soon as you can (within hours if possible) as your order will already be at the warehouse for packing and dispatch. You can either send us an e-mail to changeorder@IslandChild.com or telephone the Island Child team. You will need to tell us your order number (shown on the e-mail confirmation we would have sent you), and advise us whether you are cancelling the entire order or, if removing products, the item number(s) of the product(s) you wish to remove from the order. If changing the delivery address please confirm the new delivery address in full, and include the Postal Code.

Please note that you will NOT be able to ADD or CHANGE an item or its SIZE, and will instead have to place a new order.

We regret that, once the package has been made ready for despatch, we are not able to amend or cancel it, and you will instead have to follow our normal Returns procedure.

When can I place my order online ?
Any time of the day or night, on any day of the year. Once ordered, your goods are automatically reserved for you, ready to be dispatched from our warehouse on the next working day.

Can I place an order other than over the internet ?
Yes, you can place your order by telephone, fax or post.
